Training Policies and Guarantee
What to Look Forward To
Palms and Paws Dog Training is a service provided in your home and occasionally in public settings. The amount of time that we spend in each session with your dog will be dictated primarily by your dog and can vary from 30 minutes to 90 minutes or more. Our goal is to make sure that you and your dog completely understand the exercise/protocol that we are teaching so you can practice perfection at home! Each session that we complete builds off of the last; so there will be homework given for the time in between each session. Actively participating in and completing the homework is imperative and will determine the level of success in your training goals that we establish at the evaluation.
Safety Policy
During training and homework sessions, please follow all training guidelines, precautions, and protocols as instructed by the trainer. Failure to adhere to the training instructions can result in a lack of progression, possible regression, and/or may increase the risk of aggressive behavior, including biting. Dogs that are not correctly trained may become reactive or feel insecure in certain situations, which can lead to unpredictable actions. Without consistent guidance and reinforcement, the dog may not develop the necessary behavioral boundaries, posing a safety hazard to those around them. It is essential to follow all instructions and training exercises to mitigate this risk and ensure a safe environment for both the dog and others. The owner is responsible for any and all damage done to property, other dogs or other people caused by their dog if training instructions are not followed through.
Social Media Policy
We occasionally record training sessions for educational and promotional purposes on our social media platforms. These recordings help showcase the progress of our dogs in training and provide valuable insight into our training methods.
Your privacy is important to us! If you prefer not to have your training session recorded or shared, please inform us in advance. We will ensure that your session remains private and will not be used in any public content.
By participating in our sessions, you consent to potential recording unless you notify us otherwise.
Canceling or Rescheduling
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and changes to your schedule may occur. To best serve all of our clients, we ask that cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled training session.
If you cancel or request to reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time, a late fee will apply. Additionally, sessions canceled within this timeframe may be forfeited and will not be eligible for rescheduling or refund.
Training Guarantee
We are committed to providing high-quality training and guidance to help you and your dog succeed. Successful results depend on the amount of work and consistency that is put into the training process by both the owner and the dog. Failure to follow through with the training plan and homework can result in a forfeit of payment
That being said, our training is as guaranteed as the effort you put into it. Consistent practice, reinforcement of techniques, and following through on the training plan are key to achieving the desired outcomes. While we provide the tools and support, the long-term success of the training depends on your dedication and commitment! We guarantee to help you every step of the way!
